On arrival birds were playing in an empty birdbath with a group of 6-8 noisy juvenile Crimson Rosellas and a sole Rainbow Lorakeet the most noticeable.
After the bath, the next day, was filled a wider range of birds emerged but the most enthusiastic bather was a Crimson Rosella.
Conditions for photography were not great with dark subjects, sometimes a bright background and generally dimming winter afternoon light.
A range of other birds were photographed in the as the afternoon progressed.
The New Holland Honeyeaters were in the greatest numbers on the bath and aggressively protected it.
